Certified Days/Hours
A family’s certified days/hours of care (Documented on the Notice of Action & Application for Services) is determined at the time of certification, recertification or upon parent voluntary request. Once a family establishes eligibility & need, they will remain eligible & receive services for not less than 24 months.
This means that a child is approved to attend care based on their certified schedule for the entire certification period (24 months), unless the parent requests a change.
Beyond reporting income that exceeds the income threshold, there is no requirement to report other changes to eligibility or need.
